Air Duct/ Dryer Vent Cleaning
Breathe Easy. Allow Us to Clear the Air.
Chances are you don’t give much thought to your homes air ducts or what may be lurking behind the vent covers. However, dirty ducts may be negatively affecting your health.
U.S. Environmental protection agency (EPA) studies have found that indoor air may be two to five times – and occasionally more than 100 times – more polluted than outdoor air! Indoor air pollutants can cause immediate and long term health problems. Considering that the average American spends 90% of their time indoors, improving indoor air quality is vital. One way to improve a home’s indoor air quality is to keep the air ducts clean.
The Cleaning Process
At ServiceMaster Quality Cleaning our standard for air duct cleaning starts
by utilizing processes approved by NADCA (National air duct cleaning association).
The ability to clean with equipment and training that exceeds these standards
is what sets up apart.
Before cleaning we inspect your HVAC system, noting any problem areas and
verify the number of openings to be cleaned.
We connect an extraction unit that best suits the needs of vacuuming dust and debris from your HVAC system.
Agitation tools are used to dislodge debris from the duct walls and pushes them towards our HEPA filtered extraction unit.
Compressed air is then blown through the air duct to remove remaining dust
particles.
Areas of cleaning are vacuumed with the HEPA-filtration. This always includes
vent covers and the furnace unit.
Upon completion, our technicians place everything back in its original location, answer any questions and make sure you are satisfied with the job.
