  • Use of specialized vacuums that clear duct channels and discharges the particles outside of the home. High-Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) vacuums may be used to collect the particles indoors, if outdoor access is unavailable or inaccessible
  • Protect your carpeting, furnishings, and upholstery items during the cleaning process
  • Brush duct surfaces in combination with contact vacuuming to remove stubborn dust and particle buildups
  • Use of soft brushes for fiberglass items. Flexible air ducts can also be cleaned using brushes or an air whip
  • Removal and cleaning of all vents and duct registers
  • Provide protection for air ducts
  • Apply protective measure for air ducts – Replacing seals and insulation materials for access ports to ensure no air leaks
