Did you know it’s National Cleaning Week? As our industry celebrates National Cleaning Week, we would like to thank our employees and others who are part of the front-line crew battling COVID-19. They have been busier than ever as demand for cleaning and sanitizing increases every day.
National Cleaning Week celebrates the value of clean and the important, positive impact cleaning has on public health, the environment, and the economy, now more than ever.
Although hand hygiene is the #1 way to prevent the spread of pathogens, high touch items are also common pathogen transmission vectors and janitorial cleaners are working diligently to take extra time in these areas such as door handles, elevator buttons, light switches, keyboards, and more.
Frequent cleaning and disinfecting of these items along with repeated hand washing are critical to breaking the chain of infection and creating clean, safe, and healthy environments.
