Bathroom/Restroom Cleaning Checklist

- Empty the trash, including sanitary napkin receptacles.
- Wipe/disinfect and replace liners.
- Restock toilet paper, paper towels, and hand soap.
- Clean and sanitize toilet bowls and urinals. Polish chrome.
- Clean and sanitize both sides of toilet seats.
- Clean and sanitize bathroom stall walls and doors.

Break Room/Kitchen Cleaning Checklist
While you can hope for your employees to clean up their own spills, don’t count on it. Here’s a checklist to give to your commercial cleaning staff:
- Clear counters and floor of trash and food debris and put in trash.
- Empty coffee grounds from coffee makers into the trash.
- Empty trash and replace liners. Wipe down trash containers.
- Empty the recycling bins. Wipe down bins.

- Clean and sanitize hard surface areas such as plastic chairs and children’s play area.
- Dust mop hard surface floors and then damp mop with disinfectant.

- Vacuum carpeting and upholstered furniture.

- Sanitize high-touch areas including door handles, light switches, and water cooler.
